Deadwooding a Music Festival site | Cotswolds, Gloucs

This small music festival in the Cotswolds is held next to one of the UK’s largest solar farms. We were contracted to go down to the site in the weeks prior to remove all significant deadwood from the various trees around the site and make them safe before the campers arrived. Over 4 days we crown lifted and removed deadwood from over 40 trees, mainly Poplars. A large number of these were close to the LV power lines so it was arranged for the power to be cut whilst we completed the work.
It was a beautiful spot with plenty of wildlife – deer, owls, kestrels and plenty of rabbits. There was even a couple of hammocks for break time!
