    Another beautiful sunny day in south Notts. and perfect conditions for the dismantling of this mature sycamore. Nearly every branch had to be rigged and lowered but the most challenging part of the day was probably the heat. One of the local residents was kind enough to keep us topped up with tea and biscuits though. Always a welcome bonus for the day!

  • Will it Burn? | Leaf Tree Services, Nottingham

    Two conifers, one Silver Birch and a dead Cherry to remove for this customer in Bradmore, Notts. As woodburners become more popular we are often asked if we can leave timber for customers to use as firewood. Not all wood is good for burning though. We took the conifer timber away but the Birch and Cherry we split on site for the customers log shed.

  • Tree Surgeons Nottingham | Tree Removal: Rempstone, Rushcliffe

    Due to building work, Leaf Tree Services were brought in to clear the way. Trees to be removed included 2 x Sycamore, 1 x Silver Birch and a mature Oak. We thought it was a real shame that the Oak was not being retained but unfortunately felling trees of this size and beauty is sometimes required.

  • Leaf Tree Services | Removal & Pruning of Swedish Whitebeam, Woodthorpe, Nottingham

    Our customer on this job had requested that we remove one of his two Swedish Whitebeams as they felt that it had outgrown the garden and that the roots were damaging the pathway. They also wanted more sunlight to reach their garden and veg patch. The second tree was to be retained but crown lifted to give the required 2.5m clearance above the public footpath.     Great view of this massive failed Beech tree in Nottingham. It came down in 2 stages during the Feb winds. Leaftree Services were called to remove the tree, remove the stump.
